Feeding Hope Food Pantry
Founded in 1982, The Feeding Hope Food Pantry is a Network Partner of the Akron-Canton Regional Foodbank and provides distribution of groceries to members of the community with no residency restrictions.
Pantry Hours:
- Mondays from 6:30 – 7:30pm
- Tuesdays from 9am – noon
People experiencing food insecurity (individuals and families of varying sizes and backgrounds), may receive food for 12 meals, per family member, once per calendar month. Our choice pantry empowers people to choose items they would like from groups, with quantity limits by family size. Personal care items are also available.
As a Network Partner, we also participate in the Foodbank’s strategic plan to close the meal gap by 2025. The meal gap is the difference between the number of meals that are needed by members of the community and the number of meals they can access. As part of reducing the meal gap, the Food Pantry collaborates with Summit County Department of Job and Family Services (DJFS) to help those eligible receive Supplemental Nutrition Assistance Program (SNAP) benefits.
2023 Numbers:
- 151,164 meals provided to 12,597 people in 4,013 families

- 179,198 pounds ordered from the Akron-Canton Regional Foodbank
- 1,420 pounds of fresh produce from our Feed Our Sheep Garden
