Recognizing the food insecurity in our community, AkronFCC runs a weekly PB&J Backpack Ministry that serves the elementary students at Mason Community Learning Center. Every Friday, during the school year, volunteers pack 144 bags of food, which are delivered to the children at Mason CLC, who may not have food at home over the weekend.

Donations of children’s books are also gratefully accepted to include in the bags.
